Making a Difference

Christy Burke is honored to serve as chair of the New Jersey chapter of i.WILL, a national professional women’s networking forum for women to connect, inspire, and learn. As a member of the Board of Advisors, Christy plans and executes events for this excellent organization’s NJ chapter.

Burke & Company has been an active fundraiser and partner with Plan International on multiple projects, from building a school in Togo, West Africa, to engaging in initiatives combating child trafficking in Bolivia and sourcing school supplies in Ghana. Burke & Company has also advocated and contributed to Plan International’s Because I Am A Girl campaign to provide education and protection for girls around the globe.

Burke & Company is committed to combatting homelessness in New York City and has proudly sponsored programs with Coalition For The Homeless. For many years, Christy has served on the advisory board and taught at the Coalition's First Step job training program for homeless and low-income women. Christy also supports Camp Homeward Bound, a summer camp for homeless and at-risk children. In 2017, Burke & Company received the Coalition’s First Step Corporate Partnership Award for their longstanding support of the First Step program.
